PodPower – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PodPower web and mobile applications ("PodPower", "we", "our", or "us"), a service operated by Arctic Digital AB, based in Sweden.

By using PodPower, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Overview of the Service

PodPower provides AI-powered summaries and conversations based on podcast content. Users can browse episodes, read summaries, and interact with an AI assistant to explore topics further.

2. Account and Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use PodPower. By creating an account, you agree to provide a valid email address and not impersonate others.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Use of the Service

PodPower is currently offered free of charge. Users receive a limited number of daily credits, which may restrict how many AI queries can be made each day. We may introduce paid plans or modify these limits in the future.

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, copy, or mass-download content from the app
  • Use the service in a way that degrades performance or availability
  • Upload or discuss illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content
  • Use PodPower for commercial or automated access unless explicitly authorized

There is zero tolerance for objectionable, illegal, or abusive content generated or submitted by users. We reserve the right to remove such content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

4. AI-Generated Content

PodPower uses third-party AI models to generate summaries and respond to user input. These responses are automated and may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or misleading interpretations.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content is for informational purposes only
  • You should not rely on it for factual accuracy, legal, medical, or financial advice
  • We do not guarantee the completeness or truthfulness of any response

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided by PodPower (excluding underlying podcast audio or artwork) is the property of Arctic Digital AB. Users may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercialize any part of the service without prior permission.

Third-party podcast content is used for summarization and conversation purposes only and remains the property of the respective rights holders.

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to any user account at our sole discretion, especially in cases of abuse, misconduct, or violation of these Terms.

You may also delete your account and request full data deletion at any time by contacting us.

7. Changes to the Service

We may update or modify the features, availability, or cost structure of PodPower at any time. We'll provide notice if material changes affect your rights or usage.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PodPower and Arctic Digital AB are not liable for:

  • Any errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
  • Losses or damages resulting from use or misuse of the app
  • Downtime, bugs, or service interruptions

Use of the service is at your own risk.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
